FAQs

What happened to the November date?

Due to concerns about the COVID pandemic, and to ensure the well being of our loved ones, we decided to cancel our wedding on 11/14/2020. Our wedding on 5/8/2021 will be a much more intimate ceremony and reception.

What about COVID?

We will be monitoring the situation closely and will make adjustments accordingly. All state regulations will be followed.

As of 2/18/2021, NY requires COIVD testing in order to attend a wedding. In addition, masks are required whenever a guest is not sitting down, and tables will be spaced according to regulations. There will be no dancing beyond the formal dances.

Keep an eye on our website for updates and more information as we get closer to the date!

How do I watch the recording?

We have commissioned a special professional recording of the ceremony for those who we cannot celebrate with in person because of restrictions due to COVID-19. We wish we could celebrate with everyone in person, but hopefully we can in the future!

We will link to the recording on this website on May 9, 2021!

Is There A Dress Code?

Black tie preferred. All events will be held on-premises. Ceremony taking place inside or outside will be dependent on weather!

Can I bring a date?

Out of necessity, we are having a more intimate party, and so our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you are unsure, please contact us directly.

Are my children invited?

We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you are unsure, please contact us directly.

I Have A Food Allergy, Can I Make A Special Request?

Yes! Please let us know of any dietary needs, including allergies, vegetarian, or vegan, when you RSVP. We will try our best to accommodate!

Is there a hashtag I can use?

Yes! Please use #HerbsterEverAfter or #HappilyEverHerbster and tag us in your party photos! :)
